Windy and wild
ALLAN AND THE BOYS
MICKEY MELCHIONDO FROM WEEN
Friday and Saturday was full on blowing 20 to 25 knots and fishing this weekend proved rather tough, Friday we found a few Kingies, Bream and Trevally and trolled a nice Tailor from the Third runway.
Saturday again the wind made it rather hard, Kurnell Point fished well with Trevally and Bream but slow going, Gary Brown was out on the water and he said that he work hard for two Flathead.
Sunday headed out in the rain the wind had drop off a little and my plan was to target bream
I fished five spots and caught four nice fish and this is the way the fishing was all day, but we ended up with a nice catch, Bream, Trevally, Flathead and Slimy Mackerel.
My phone rang just as I past under the Captain Cook Bridge on my way home after three tough days on the water and the voice said, chance for a fish this afternoon, this was the last thing on my mind so I rang Nathan and he was keen, so the pick up was at 4pm and the weather just got better and better, Standing on the wharf waiting was Mickey Melchiondo from the band WEEN The boys were out on tour from home town New Hope Pennsylvanin USA.
The afternoon proved better fishing than the rest of the weekend and the wind had drop off, Micky scored Kingies, Bream and Trevally form Trevally Alley and he said that the Kingies
red hot pulling harder than most and I would fly back just to have another crack at one.
