FISHING REPORT
Well what a great weekend of weather at last, yes a little cool but flat seas and light winds and the fishing was good off shore but the Bay is still a little tough.
Squid are worth spending time on in the Bay, work the kelp beds for best results.
Trevally are still tricky to find but the odd fish are about.
Salmon are now hanging off Cape banks and moving in with the tide they are feeding on very small bait and tricky to hook, work small white metals or Squidge Flick baits and the small Stiffy poppers will bring results.
Off shore is fishing great in close with Trevally, Bonito and the odd Salmon.
Out wide from Coogee across the reefs was slow today as the current has slowed up, last Tueday was top fishing with good size Mowrong hooked just about every drop
Across the sand in 50 metres you will now find good Flathead drifting straight out from the Bay.

Trolling on Sunday heading North early, hooked this great looking Salmon.

Big male Baker caught on the bottom.

August and September are prime time for good sand Flathead in 40 to 50 metres
straight out from the Bay and right along the coast.
A top looking Squid from the Bay on Saturday.

Hows this for a top catch of Blue Mowrong last Tuesday north from the Bay.
