Shut down on the Bay

Well the weather was at its best, no wind, no sea and all this on a weekend hard to believe, but the fish seem to have lock jaw, Saturday I fished five spots that normally produce good numbers of Trevally and a few Bream only to find Slimys and large Yellow tail at each spot.
Trolled both the Runway and Container wall with no luck so out came the soft plastic and we found a few Flathead for the day. Barry a good mate scored well on Saturday afternoon at Trevally Alley on Bream and Trevally but said he burley hard to bring them on the bite this was on the run out tide.
Sunday we headed off shore, filled the live bait tank with Slimys and head to the Peak, The Kingies should now start turning up in good Numbers over the next few months and we will be heading out there when the weather suits jigging, as all the new Shimano jigging gear is now on board and ready for action.
Drifting two baits on the bottom we scored a solid Morwong and a few Leather jackets, Bloody things are every were.
Hooked a solid fish on one of the Slimys but pulled the hooks, Droped a jig and hooked a solid Bonito. Headed back to the Snapper grounds but very quite only the odd fish.
