KINGS ARE BACK

Fishing over the weekend was good, Bonito and Kings are hanging around Cape banks with the Bonito taking trolled lures, Squid or live Yellow tail working well for the Kings, The Kings are a little thin as I found them one day and not the next.
Trevally have moved as the water temp lifted and the last two days I had trouble finding them.
Bream are the most productive species and scored plenty all week long, Middle of the Bay the spot to fish.
Flathead are worth a try drifting between the sticks, Just try jigging with soft plastics.

NEXT SUNDAY THE 11TH IS FREE AT THIS TIME SO BE QUICK IF YOU WOULD LIKE A DAY OUT FISHING.
THE LAST SUNDAY IN MARCH IS THE NEXT SINGLES DAY 25TH THE JANUARY SINGLES DAY WAS A TOP OUTING WITH ALL CATCHING PLENTY OF FISH, BONITO, BREAM,FLATHEAD, SO IF YOU AND A MATE WOULD LIKE TO JOIN IN JUST GIVE ME A CALL.

Well the cold water is on its way and the bay is starting to warm up againg, Still rather dirty looking but the fishing should improve.
I found plenty of bream this week along with the odd Salmon.
Middle of the Bay is fishing rather good on the run in tide with Nippers for bait.
Score a small King Today and I saw a few landed as well.

Sam with a top Lizard from the bay caught over the christmas break well done mate.

Cold water flows into the Bay.
The fishing this weekend was rather good until the cooler water flowed into the Bay with the tide, Trevally alley still fishing well but only for the first hour in the morning, Trevally and the odd Salmon from this spot.
Time to head futher down the Bay ahead of the cooler water and there is quite a few nice Bream on the bite just out from the runways on both tides and you best fish the last few hour of the run out and the first few hours of the run in as the water is warmer lets hope this change soon as there are Kingies to chase once the water warms up again.
ONLY TWO SPOTS LEFT FOR THE SINGLES DAY ON THE 27TH OF THIS MONTH SO BE QUICK JUST GIVE ME A CALL AND JUMP ON FOR A DAYS FISHING OUT ON BOTANY BAY.
THE NEXT SINGLES DAY IS 25TH OF FEB.

Fished the Port Hacking this week spinning for Bream around the pontoons with only small results, Gary Brown landed on nice fish on the western side of Gymea Bay and a few small reds. and I caught a nice Bream after many casts from one of the many pontoons, Port Hacking can be tricky at times.

Fishing saturday was rather good around the runways and out in the middle of the bay as the water around the entrance is cold and hanging around 17 to 18 and this has shut the fish down so the run out tide is far better.
Bream and Flathead from the runways and Trevally only on the run out around the drums and plenty of them.
No Kings but I have hear the odd fish beening caught.

Hope all had a good break and are thinking on heading out over the weekend for a fish, The Bay is fishing well Bream and Flathead are in good numbers in the middle of the Bay and also over near the third runway, Flathead spinning across the weed flats just of Towra working well.
Trevally in good numbers at Trevally alley and around the drums in the middle of the Bay.
I now have the last Saturday of the month open for singles to head out fishing cost $150.00 per person all you need to do is ring me or email me but be quick as they are starting to fill. So keep this in mind as a cheaper way to fish if there are only one or two of you.
Kings are in small numbers still a little patchy.
