WILD AND WINDY ON THE BAY

Peter with the Flathead taken on the Lobby wide from Towra Point.

The boys and there catch from Trevally Alley.

Garry with two of the Bream for Trevally Alley.

Well after a few days of wild weather we headed out on Sunday for a deep sea trip, but stayed in the bay for the day as the weather was a little out of control out side of the Bay and all were rather happy with that, Started the day just of the Oil Wharf and landed two nice Bream and a few small Trevally.
Trolling was a little quite dew to the rough conditions and lots of weed in the Bay.
Trevally Alley prove the spot to fish and we cleaned up on Bream and Trevally on the turn of the tide around 9am and it fished well until 10.30am.
We finished the day with a nice Flathead wide from Towra Point.

LATE RUN ON KINGIES

Top weekend of fishing south of Sydney
Spots open give me a call if you would like a day on the water fishing Botany Bay or Deep sea, Gift vouchers also available.
Mobile:0418 169 43 Office:9526 7431

Just a little windy on the water this weekend as the wind hit hard from the west, Friday had us out on the Bay and the fishing was rather good, Trolling has produced well with good Tailor and a few Kingies in Yarra Bay on first light but allow the sun to hit the water for best results.
Trevally are around the Drums and also along Trevally Alley both tides seem to produce good fish and again the odd Kingie is still hanging around.
Saturday had us off shore heading out of the Port hacking River as the forecast was for strong winds again from the west so we headed south in tight to the cliffs and had a great day flat seas and little wind, Trolling produced well with Tailor, Bonito, Kingies and Salmon with a few triple hookups.
Trevally are about but only in small numbers along the headlands as it was a little tricky to anchor on the exposed headlands dew to the wind.
Sunday the fishing school headed out for there day on the water and we cover all that we covered in the class, Trevally from around structure in deep water, Trolling produced Tailor and Kingies, Bream on the flats but no Flathead on the plastics this weekend but all in all a top weekend of fishing and lots of different species to target.

Big Bream at the sticks

Bream and Trevally are on the chew in Botany Bay

BOTANY BAY REPORT
What a weekend of top fishing, I know I seem say this each week but the good fishing just goes on and on, The Drums fished well early for Trevally on the last of the run in tide, burley was need to keep them on the bite.
Later in the day Trevally Alley produced good Trevally and Bream on the run out, again burley was needed to keep the fish keen.
Headed to the sticks to fish the run out tide for Bream at 11.30am and was surprised landing four good bream in 30 minutes, The Bream season this year has been great and I think it will continue for a while yet.
Spinning for Flathead was slow but we raise one good fish that followed the plastic right to the boat before swimming off over the weed beds.

BLOODY COLD BACK IN SYDNEY

FLOUNDER TAKEN ON A SQUIDGES WASABI LOBBY
WIDE FROM TOWRA POINT
THE ONLY FLATHEAD THIS WEEK, CAUGHT OF TOWRA
ON A SQUIDGE FLICK BAIT
BREAM AND TREVALLY IN GOOD NUMBERS AT THE
DRUMS AND TREVALLY ALLEY

BOTANY BAY REPORT
Well the fishing is right as it was before I left, I had most of April off the water with Easter and the Weipa trip, Nathan did a top job while I was away keep all catching fish on all outings.
I hit the water 6am Saturday Morning and shit it was cool as Weipa temp sits on 30 to 35 each day, 10 was a little tough but all was good, The Drums look good as a starting point as the tide was running out, Bream and Trevally kick straight in to give us a top start.
Trevally Alley also fished well for Trevally and on Sunday morning we found good numbers of Bream and boated one small Kingie of 63cm later in the day.
I trolled both Saturday and Sunday as Tailor are about but did know good in Yarra Bay and around the Third runway.
Spinning for Flathead both days but a little slow only landed one nice lizard and two good size flounders.
