ANOTHER TOP WEEKEND OF FISHING AND WEATHER

Another top week of weather and fishing in Botany Bay, The Bream season this year has been one of the better on ones that's for shore with good Bream most trips, last Wednesday proved a little tough for them but most trips we are boating quite a few good fish, This weekend the lower end of the Bay produced well, wide from both runways on the run in tide on first light seem better. Spinning for Flathead this weekend proved rather good wide from Towra point on Squidges with a few solid fish caught, fishing in 3metres of water on the run out tide.
Trevally are in good numbers, Saturday around the Drums you could walk on them but Sunday on the same tide we only boated a few they are moving around so you might need to fish quiet a few spots to find them.
Nathan fished Sunday afternoon and caught Salmon, Kingies, Bream and Trevally, The two Kingies were both under size taken on live baits.
Paul from Fratelli Del Mare a top eat in Crounulla call me on Saturday just after boating a solid Kingie around 75cm and he also did well on Bream and Trevally along the Third runway.
So the Botany Bay is fishing at its best and the next few months are looking great as we slide into Winter season.

FISH A PLENTY

Gary Brown, Author of fishing Sydney
with a solid Bream taken at the Drums.

Snapper and a nice Bream taken from wide of the Thrid runway

Well another top week of fishing, the Bay at this time of the year can turn it on, Nathan headed out on Saturday on a deep sea trip and ended up with a nice mixed bag of fish.
I fished the Bay on Friday and found lots on offer, wide from the Third runway fished well for Bream and Trevally, bagged a nice Kingie from Trevally Alley and scored well around the Drums with Trevally, Bream and Flathead and Sunday was mucAlign Centerh the same the only problem I found on Sunday there was little water flow so the Bream were a little tricky but we work hard and scored a nice catch.
Chris from Shimano scored well just wide from the mouth of Botany Bay on Dolphin fish on Saturday and Sunday and he said there was Strip Tuna about as well and the odd Marlin was sighted all this so close to shore.

The Drums are the hot spot this week with Bream, Trevally, Kingies, and one small Shark a first for me in the Bay caught at midday on a Pilli cube.

BOTANY HARBOUR FISHING WELL

A top mix of fish from Botany Bay this weekend.

Great weather again and top fishing, Bream are just about all over the bay, I have caught them at Trevally Alley, The Drums, wide from the runways most fish are a smaller run but this is the norm for spawn run fish at this time of the year, There has been better size Bream in the main channel from the Captain Cook Bridge to Towra Point.
Wide from Towra the drifting grounds for Flathead is fishing quite well but make shore you spend a little time working you Squidges as I found fish one day but not the next so move around for best results.
Big Trevally are about in the bay, I found a few at the Drums both days just on first light along with Kingies taken on live baits.
