FISHING SYDNEY

 FISHING REPORT
A little crazy weather over the weekend, but thats our summer in Sydney, we hit the water Friday for a deep sea trip and did well with Bonito trolling early along the coast heading north.
The close reefs proved a little tough and only producing a few Trevally we then headed wide from Coogee and did well on Morwong, and one Trag fishing the fishing bottom.
Botany Bay Sunday had us spinning for Tailor early along the Third Runway, Squid over the kelp beds and Kings and Flathead off the runway, a little windy early but the day improved and all enjoyed.

Trag off Coogee, this anglers biggest fish ever, nice work.
Two nice Flathead caught wide from the runway.
Alex with his first Kingie in the Bay.

King Fish are about in good numbers as we found out on our last few trip in Botany Bay, Squid a little tricky to find at times.
Bream are patchy as are Trevally and the Tailor school early now fishing well low in the Bay and around the Third Runway.
Deep sea has been very quite for some reason but this will improve as normal.

Sydney fishing trips

FISHING REPORT
A few good day on the water last week Botany Bay produced well with King Fish in good numbers, Trevally slow for some reason and the Bream have picked up again.
Tailor school in the middle of the Bay have also turn up in good numbers most mornings.
Squid are in good numbers most days fishing the Kelp beds.
Deep sea is fishing well around the shallow reefs for Trevally, Kings and the odd Snapper, Trolling the coast is producing Kings and the odd Salmon.
So as we move into Feb all will now settle down and like every other year Feb and March are the best months in the Bay for Kings, keen to catch a King Fish call me.

Nice Bream caught at the Sticks in Botany Bay.
Father and son off shore land a King Fish caught on fresh Squid.
Good size Squid about in Botany Bay.
