Squid can be tricky to find but drifting over the kelp beds your a chance.

SYDNEY CHARTER FISHING TRIPS

 FISHING REPORT

Wild weather again over the weekend for all fishos in Sydney, Saturday we headed north from Botany Bay and after the strong south winds on Friday night the sea was a little bumpy early but not to bad and the water quality has improved and the reefs fired with good Morwong, Flathead and others.

By 11am the wind started to blow in from the south east at about 20knots making our trip back to the Bay interesting thats for shore.

Sunday started the day all getting rained on but no wind and Tailor schools are now starting to show and we did well spinning with Bumpa Bar Lures landing quite a few good fish.

Big Trevally have also turn up in the Bay and most fish we landed measured 35 to 40cm great fun on light gear, then the wind came up and belt across the Bay form the west at 30knots so we pushed to Brighton Beach to end the trip, To great days of fishing in strange weather.

Frank and the guys did well on Saturday out wide from Coogee.

Big Trevally and Tailor now in the Bay, Kings should now start to show soon.

Well Saturday we fished off shore and had a good day in good conditions, first fish for the day a nice King Fish 75cm caught in 65metre off Coogee then followed a good mix of reef fish and Flathead.
Sunday started great with top conditions but soon changed as the so called south wester as forecast pushed straight in from the south east shutting the Bay down, just to windy but we pushed on and landed a feed but a very tricky and tough day.

 75cm King Fish, nice work.

Charter Fishing Sydney

SYDNEY FISHING REPORT
Windy weekend over Sydney with Saturday hot and strong winds from the north west 25knots we fished off shore for a good mixed bag of fish, we fished in close due to the winds.
Sunday we were greeted by a strong cool South West wind that ripped across the Bay at 30 knots making it a very tricky day but we all worked hard and by the end of the trip we did okay due to the conditions.
Last Wednesday was a top day off shore in great conditions wide from Coogee with Snapper, Morwong, and Trag and a few Flathead as well.

Check out The Hook and The Cooks you tube clip this week
Barramundi on Poppers.
