Fishing school holidays

Super keen angler Jason with a nice Salmon, Hooked on light tackle what a buzz.

The boys and part of there catch, what a day they had yesterday.

Nice Flathead that smashed a Blood worm wriggler from Squidgies

Top weekend of fishing on the Bay, Trevally are respond well to burley and fresh baits and we did well at Trevally Alley early morning and there is a mix of good fish and quite a few smaller fish around 28 to 30 so watch the size.
Spinning produce on good Flathead on the drift in Yarra Bay in 7 metres.
Later anchored just on the turn of the tide and fished the end of the Thrird Runway, what a session with Bream, Tailor, Salmon and Trevally until the wind pushed in from the south and move us of our spot, This time of the year is great fishing great weather, yes a little cool in the mornings but it great out there.

Back in the Bay after a few weeks up north and yes the fingers felt the cold this weekend as that little westerly cut to the bone early on Saturday but the fishing is right were I left it, Trevally are thick along Trevally Alley and good fish as well and quite a few smaller ones mixed, I found that early was quite good and they seemed to go off the bite as the sun came up, but fished it later and caught a few more, Sunday was a complete copy of Saturday.
Trolling also produced a few fish, Tailor in Yarra Bay and a small Salmon along Kurnell Point.
We boated one nice Flathead on Sunday after a little work just off the sailing club at Sans Souci.
So all in all quite good fishing and the weather is nice and stable at this time of the year in the Bay or off shore.

Well sorry every body for no reports for the last few weeks but I was up north with the lucky six that join me in Weipa for the week and what a week of great fishing warm weather and loads of fun I think the photos should tell the story full report in my news letter that will go out today.
Nathan headed out while I was away and did rather well on Trevally and a few Bream in the Bay we should now start to see good catches each trip of Trevally Tailor should start turning up so trolling will produce and spinning for Flathead is worth a shot in the Bay, Off shore is a top time to start fishing the wider reefs for Snapper, Morwong and Flathead.
