AFTER THE WET

Scott with his Kingie that was landed after a 20 minute fight
Bloody top effort mate
A good mixed bag of Bream and Trevally

The boys with there Kingie

Nathan found the fishing a little tough on Saturday as he fished the bay for me, They worked hard for only a few fish, Bream Trevally, Whiting and a few small Kingies.
Sunday I headed out straight to the drums and started the day rather well, boating Bream and Trevally and we dropped a few as well then one of the Pilli cubes fished on 6kg Schneider screamed of this was no Bream or Trevally and my call was a Kingie and my first thoughts were that it was another rat but after 15min the angler Scott was still losing line to this fish, after 20min we had colour and after three laps around the boat and twice running towards the drums we boated a very impressive 90cm Kingies a top effort on light tackle that's for shore.
Later that day after fish a number of spots, we headed back to the drums loaded up with live baits we only landed a few more Bream and Trevally but what a top day.
Nathan headed back out that afternoon and also scored well with Trevally and Bream around the sane area.

WET WEEKEND

Another Rat Kingie one of many we have
caught and releast this season

Peter with one of the Bream taken on Sunday

Saturday was out of the question, Wet and windy.
Headed out on Sunday for a late start and the conditions prove not to bad, filled up with live baits before starting at Trevally Alley as it was fishing well before the weather change.
Boated three nice Bream to kick of the day and a few small kingies always a blast on light tackle.
The water has warmed up and the colour on the run in tide looks spot on this may change if we receive more rain this week.
Move around and fished three more spots with out a result, Anchored at the sticks and it fished well more Bream and a few Trevally and another small Kingies that did three laps around the boat before we landed him.

BIG WEEKEND OF FISHING

BIG WEEKEND OF FISHING BOTANY BAY AND
BATE BAY PORT HACKING.

Saturday out on Botany Bay and again the conditions were perfect, Light north east breeze.
Trevally Alley again proved the spot, I found Bream, Trevally, and the odd Kingie.
Later in the day on the big run out wide from the old runway was quite good for Bream, Trevally Flounder and Whiting all taken on Nippers.
Port Hacking Bate Bay fished well, Nathan headed out on Saturday afternoon and found the wind a little trick to deal with but all enjoyed and caught loads of fish from the reefs in Bate Bay.
Sunday I found the same conditions in Bate Bay but the wind had drop off and the fishing was great, Trevally, Bream and Sweep made the bulk of the catch we then headed back to the Port and target Squid, Bream and Whiting on the flats.

BOTANY BAY REPORT

Trevally Alley at its best Bream and Trevally

Solid Flattie taken while fishing for Bream
Botany Bay over the weekend fished well, Trevally are in good numbers around Trevally Alley along with the amount of boats fishing there, The small Kingies are still in good numbers and loads of fun when they smash a Pillie cub that was intended for Trevally, but watch the size as most are under, The school seem to be 55cms to 60cms we caught one the other day that was 40cms.
Bream are fishing well in the lower end of the Bay, The old runway across to the river mouth at Towra Point, Try Nippers, Blood Worms, Chicken filet, Chicken gut, Also picking up quite a few good Flathead in this area as well.
Surface action quite on the weekend.
Deep Sea and the Kingies are on fire we boated 30 or more on Sunday on jigs and live bait but again all were under size but the boys had a ball, they had me working thats for sure, I had two or three fish kicking around the deck waiting to be released the hole time madness.
Fished Bate Bay and it fished well with Trevally.
